Srinagar, Sep 08 (KNO): Woodlands House School celebrated its 60th anniversary on the eve of Founder’s Day, with a series of programmes highlighting its six-decade-long legacy, achievements and cultural spirit.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said the celebrations were graced by former Chief Minister and National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani and Director Education Naseer Ahmad Wani, along with other distinguished guests.
The event was also attended by the school’s management, including Chairman Riki Singh, Chairperson Amteshwari Singh, and Directors Farid Singh and Viraj Singh.
He said a special highlight of the celebrations was the presence of several alumni, who returned to their alma mater and shared cherished memories of their school days.
He said the landmark celebration paid tribute to the vision of the founder, Mrs Rup SP Singh, and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing generations of students with knowledge, values and excellence—(KNO)
